Family Fun Day, Sunday 9 June 2013

A Family Fun Day is being held at Bridgend Police Station (Brackla Street) on Sunday 9 June between 11am and 4pm.

Organised by the Bridgend Community Safety Partnership and South Wales Police, the event will see families enjoying a packed day of activities including face painting, an inflatable football pitch, a military assault course, BMX ramps and more.

There will also be the opportunity to meet police dogs and horses, take a close look at the Police’s underwater search speed boat and a fire engine from the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, while visitors can also have a peak inside the Police Station’s cells.

The car park and rear yard will be full to the brim with organisations bringing even more fun to the day, such as Falconry UK, Chocolate Indulgences, Guide Dogs Cymru and the Positive Futures team.

The Bridgend Community Safety Partnership is made up of Bridgend County Borough Council and various other agencies all working together to reduce crime, disorder and the fear of crime locally.
