Castle Bingo crime prevention event

Bridgend Police invite you to a Crime Reduction event being held on Wednesday, 9th April at Castle Bingo, Bridgend.

The Mayor, Councillor Clive James will be opening the event at 9:30 with doors opening at 9am.

Come along and meet your local Policing Team and a number of agencies who can advise and support you on how to keep safe in your own home.

Trading Standards will be telling you how to reduce the opportunity for being a victim of a scam or rogue trader.

The event is sponsored by Castle Bingo and will follow with a free bingo session with prizes.

Refreshments are provided.

There has been a recent spate of dwelling burglaries in the borough where burglars are breaking into houses, taking the car keys and stealing the car and other posessions.

Home Fire Safety Checks

South Wales Fire and Rescue Services carries out approximately 6000 Home Fire Safety Checks and fit approximately 12000 smoke alarms in homes throughout the area each year.
